It was proven. The fullback couldn't have gotten those yards because Tearbow had the ball. You can "if" it all you want to, but Meyer did not win anything at UF without him.

No, not at all. I just had a thought. Seeing as McDaniels was fired and Meyer resigns. It just seemed like a possibilty. I doubt they would even talk to him. Him moving to Denver to be closer to Tebow makes more sense to me. :wink:

Joe Paterno will probably thank Urban Meyer for getting the attention off of him. I'm sure he gets tired of the "are you going to retire?" questions.

Reading their threads on gatorsports.com makes me sick. They literally are nonchalant about losing arguably their greatest coach of the modern era, and are rattling off a list of A+ candidates that they think they can have any or all of them. I didn't realize they could have any coach they want.

How'd that Ron Zook thing work out when you all had the same attitude?!

(Did I mention that I hate UF Fans?)

I've already told that it is not proof enough. Prove that without their 4th leading rusher on the field UF would not have won the NC as you claimed.

Did Peyton lose 4 games as a starter during his first year? I can't remember.

Tebow is not my hero by any means. I didn't say Tebow was the only reason they won the NC that year. I only said Meyer doesn't win it without Tebow. There were other cogs necessary that year just as Harvin was necessary as well as Tebow in the 2nd NC. The common theme is neither are won without Tebow though.

a) Steve Spurrier was the best coach that they ever had, bar none.
b) Truth be told, they probably will wind up with whomever they want.

ehh.. it doesn't help that Herbstreit is on ESPN saying UF is the best job and they can get whoever they want including potentially Jon Gruden.

Can't say I disagree. They're Miami with the money and fanbase to attract talent.

Well, you actually said to prove a Fullback couldn't have gotten those tough yards. I don't think a FB would have ever been the 4th leading rusher on that team. Also, I don't think the FB could do the jump pass. They don't win that NC without Leak, but they also don't win that NC without Tebow.

In all honesty, you should be the one proving they could have gotten those plays without Tebow beings the stats show Tebow contributed that year.

I like their approach. Instead of whining b****ing and moaning they have positive attitude and approach. Unlike the Kiffin haters here who will stalk the guys every move until he stops coaching...and heck maybe even after that.
