Well, they should have went to the monitors. Without going to the monitors, they allowed one player that was stomping another to stay in and another player that was swinging his helmet to stay in.

Have you heard(other than the indefinite suspensions) and specific punishment coming from this?

Didn't the Clemson/South Carolina brawl result in both teams being held out of bowl games that year?

at the beginnning, I think someone is running around the brawl with the Canes flag. Why did the coaches think what happened on the sidelines afterward was accetable? I think the refs should have called the game right there, and both teams get a loss.

I enjoyed the shot of the Miami student section at the end. I have always had more respect for "The U's" student body than for its average fan, however, cheering after that brawl is absolutely uncalled for.

The Cane flag is running around because Miami just scored. I'd be willing to bet that cheerleader got the heck out of Dodge when he realized what was going on. :birgits_giggle:

Yes, Holtz and Bowden didn't allow their teams to play in bowl games that year. What are you gonna do with FIU, though? Take away their bowl bid that wont get here for another 5 years? Doubtful...

I read a bunch of Miami players are getting suspended.

You should have seen the "Sunsations," the "U's" ultra hot dance team. Those young ladies could have won gold, silver, and bronze in the 4x100 Olympic relay if they ran as fast on the track as they did getting away from the fracas.

They should have put pads on those girls this season and give them numbers in the 80's. The U needs them.

We will get to see just how discipline-minded Coker is. Duke is their next game but following that is Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. Those will be the top 3 teams in their division of the ACC.
