„STARTING to question the effectiveness of these vaccines????“. Wow. It should be pretty obvious to everyone by now that they are not effective at all, at least against the latest variants. Now if by effectiveness we mean effective in easing the severity then fine (they do) but in terms of effective in preventing infection (the classic definition of „vaccine, they are about as effective as. Jeremy Pruitt offensive game plan 😂
But if they don’t stop transmission, then the whole argument for vaccine mandates is moot. You can (and definitely SHOULD) take in to protect yourself (and your family who you need to be there for), but it does nothing to protect society as a whole which is the only logical reason for a mandate.

Here's some awesome science for you, this is what we have been told by the geniuses thus far:

1) Winter 2020: Ordinary face masks don't work against viruses. We've known this for 30 years and have over 2 dozen peer reviewed studies supporting that fact. Spring 2020: Ordinary face masks are an effective tool against this virus. Winter 2022: The CDC says that ordinary face masks are nothing more than facial decorations and are ineffective against the virus.

2) Fall 2020: Vaccine is available. Take the vaccine so that you can have long lasting immunity and so that you cannot sicken others. Summer 2021: This is now a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Fall 2021: The vaccines don't give you long lasting immunity and start to wain after 3 to 6 months. Fall 2021: Those that are fully vaccinated can still catch and spread the virus just as easily as the unvaxed.

Sure can't wait to see what is next!

You don’t defeat incorrect ideas by preventing them from being expressed. You defeat them by open dialogue and debate. The best way to ensure a crazy idea sticks around is to drive it underground just like the best way to sell a book was to get it „banned“.
I use flat earthers as an example. Thank Heaven flat earther videos are allowed on YouTube because we can all see them and laugh at the stupidity. But I guarantee you that if YouTube banned them, there would perversely be an increase in their popularity because then the weak minded would see that as validation that the „secret powers“ running the world had something to hide.
Don’t push foolishness underground where it will fester and turn more septic. Expose it to the sunlight of critique and ridicule.

What is sad is that there are people who will just continue to go along with whatever they are told without question. Some have woke up though.

By the way I'm not against the vaccine. However I've always been interested in different opinions on topics. And there are plenty of papers on the NIH website that have been published showing effective early treatment. I mean they are not even hiding it themselves.

This is a little off topic. I also used to belong to a more left leaning church. It got worse after Trump got elected and the leadership at the national level is have these open political left beliefs. Even though probably half the members are conservative.

I feel ya Donjo. I am a United Methodist. Our church and our sister church are fairly conservative, but some of the United Methodists are not. A big battle raged over the subject of gay ministers, and ministers being required to marry gay couples even if they disagreed with it. Almost split up the United Methodists.

What's annoying is this whole thing hasn't really come down to what the science is.

It's come down to an understanding and a regard for probability.

Like one camp is hysterical over it and even if you tell them that they have a 0.008% chance of dying they come up with "I could have scarred lungs!" I could kill my grandma!"

The other is like

There is no point to all this crap for everybody because the vast vast vast majority of us have nothing to worry about, especially now more than ever with the vaccines, natural immunity and the therapeutics that are used to treat it.

Once my mid 20's ass realized there was literally no chance I could come close to dying from this after I analyzed the very easy data to analyze that you don't need a freaking scientist to analyze, I went about life like normal.

Unsurprisingly

Not dead!

Not close!

Just following the science.

Joe Rogan's podcast is nothing more than him interviewing people. They sit around having a long discussion about topics, including vaccines. Some of what they say is wrong, just like how 'the science' has been wrong over and over again.

I paid to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse perform live back in the 90s. It was a great show. Unforgettable.

But his stunt to censor Rogan is anti-American. 'Keep on Rockin in the Free World', right Neil? Right lefties?

First of all, Spotify does censor. You think they let anything onto their platform? I'm sure some NAMBLA podcasters would love to be available there. Second of all, we want individuals and corporations to have the power to censor their own media/platforms. If Spotify caves, it's the free market at work. If Spotify doesn't cave, it's the free market at work.

There is nothing anti-American about Neil Young's protest. This is the way America is supposed to work.
