One of the right-wings favorite talking points is the claim that 50 percent of American households dont pay income taxes. From that claim flow a couple of other points: First, its impossible to cut taxes for those households because they dont pay any tax in the first place; second, those households are somehow less deserving of respect or even a voice in politics because they arent paying their own way.
Were you wanting me to address that issue? It is the current structure. Does it need modificaton? sure, but I am confident any modifications I might make would not suit most of you because of our general philosophical differences

That is good for all of us, what about the people from "wealth Families"?
sound about right. in what other situation in life can you contribute nothing but get equal say as the guy who foots the bill?
yes the amazing thing is that truefan pays far less of his entire wealth in taxes than do regular high earners because he has inherited weath. i for one think the estate tax should be 90%. of course that would hurt my business quite a bit.
