Quality Win Update for SEC teams

Not really, but their record at this point with the strength of schedule and their conference rating would make it difficult for either of them.

Northwestern is entirely capable of going 6-2 or 7-1 over their last 8 games. That gets them in with a little room to spare IMO.

Sure glad we got by Charleston when we did...

That L they took against the Citadel at home tonight was probably just a fluke.

I hated the selection Sunday that paired us with Louisville and UNC. Hated it.

I remember looking at my wife and telling her, "well it was a decent year" the moment I saw the bracket.

Back to the A10 topic, current bracketology has them getting 6 teams in. Looking through the remaining schedules, I think that 5 is the max. However, if they are seeded anything near the way Lunardi has them scheduled right now, there are going to be some 1 and 2 seeds with their work cut out for them in the second round.

Also, to address a recurring theme, the loser of the Miss. St./Ole Miss game on Thursday might as well plan on accepting a bid to the NIT.

Miss. St. should probably plan on that anyway.

If Ole Miss loses Thursday, a West team better start focusing real hard on the SECT if they want to play in the NCAAs

SEC has a prayer of 5. That said, if the SEC gets 5, that means the boys that were supposed to be the strength of the conference will be eyeing a bunch of middlin to worse seeds, ie UT.

Florida and Northwestern are simultaneously playing as if they're looking forward to playing each other in the NIT semis.

I bet Tasmin Mitchell is thrilled with his decision to come back to school. He's done nothing to help his draft status and gets to play on one of the worst SEC teams of the last quarter century.

too bad. He's a ballplayer, especially on D.

Florida/Xavier begins soon. Florida needs a win or the SEC will be in serious danger of a 3 team showing in the NCAAs.

The upcoming Florida-Ole Miss game has become a contest for NCAA Tournament survival. Funny how Florida, and the SEC as a whole, is turning out to be exactly what most of us thought.
