They are actually all 4 stars, Dools hacked into the recruiting data bases and deleted a star....what a trickster.

All of you clowns brushing aside the fact that we are only getting 3 stars are fools. You don't win the SEC with a class full of 3 stars. You think Bama is good because Sabam is a brilliant play caller. NO! It is because he brings in the top talent. Same goes for Urban. Name me a team to win the SEC in the past 10 years that didn't get a ton of 4 and 5 star recruits. Look who win the NCs. Texas, USC, Florida, OSU, OU, Bama. NOT TEAMS FULL OF CRAP 3 STARS!

You guys are delusional. Kiffin recruited and that is what works in all college sports. Everyone of these 3 stars that commits the more I think Dooley was a dumb hire. His best players were Tennessee rejects.

Go look at Bama, UF, and USCs current classes. THEY ARE NOT LOADED WITH 3 STARS.

If you don't want to look at "stars" look at who is offering these kids. The Floridas, Bamas, and even UGAs of the world are not looking at these kids. This class SUCKS so far. Plain and simple.

Chill. When we start winnin the 4-5 star recruits will be easier to get. Any program with attrition and 3 coaches in 3 yrs will struggle at getting top talent right away. It will happen.

When are we going to start winning? You have to recruit to win. If we make a bowl game and win 6 games I will be thrilled with Dooley. Thats how bad are talent is and how hard are schedule is. You think 6 wins and a spot in the Music City bowl is going to bring in the 5 stars?

Kiffin recruited top recruits after Fulmer drove us in to the ground. Saban immediately got good recruits same for CUM.

Rodgers 5 star, Stone 4 star, Neal 4 star,Hunter 4 star. These guys werent coming here until Dooley recruited them. Have faith.

Yeah that was great and I was very excited about those signings, but you have to do that year in and year out in the SEC and you still might only be mediocre. It just gets ridiculous when I see people on here claiming that were going to be just fine with 3 stars because Boise State won a BCS game.

Your point is somewhat valid sure. But i think Coach Dooley knows more about winning in the SEC than you do :birgits_giggle:

I'm sure he does as well, but would you go so far as to say he knows more that Nick Saban or CUM or Richt, or Spurrier, because those guys are not going anywhere near are coveted 3 stars.

Take a look at these players before dismissing them. This Coleman kid is exactly the right kind of athlete. Think Inky but bigger.

I don't make many predictions but I will make one. Barring injury, I believe that Downs will be a better TE than most of the guys Rivals/Scout have ranked above him. I think he will be better than several they have at 4*.

Earlier there was a trend with Meyer and Saban... several kids within a few weeks go noticed by them and offered after DD offered. Saban in particular seems to respect DD's evaluation skills.

His job isn't to be better than anyone on this site. It's to compete with the Sabans and Meyers of the world.

saying that they never sign a 3 star is ridiculous. Do some research. All they have that we dont at this time is consistant success in a 3year span. Which we can and will have soon. In the words of CDD: UT has always won, can win and will continue to win.

I didn't say they don't sign 3 stars. I'm saying the players that are committed to us did not get offers from any big football powers. Just the likes of Vandy and Kentucky.
