The Great Labor Force Debate

A hospital can function indefinitely without CNAs and no one in a hospital will look to a CNA to answer questions about revenue, employee benefits, or hiring other CNAs.

Yeah, I am not sure you're correct. Get rid of the CNAs and watch the nurses walk. Then the doctors. The only ones left would be those skilled administrators.

But I thought you were arguing most of this thread about skill sets, not one's personal perception of people's ideology. He may very well be a neocon warmonger. If so, he seemed to be highly skilled and effective at it.
Oh I'm not saying either one isn't smart. Both him and Kamala are highly intelligent. Cheney helped keep us in wars and Kamala may be on the same path. So I guess you are right. They both seem to be highly skilled and effective neocon warmongers. Good point.

Okay. Go tell that to an RN that works at a hospital that the hospital can function without CNAs.

You guys really love showing your true colors on here. At this point I'm just going to say keep up the good work.
An RN can change a bedpan or bathe a comatose patient. A CNA can’t administer medication, draw blood, or assist in surgery.

It’s definitely the entire world that’s wrong about this and you are right 😂😂😂
Just like your "private business can do as they please" ideology. Where you are right and everyone else is wrong. Although you have admitted in reality they can't do what they want.

An RN doesn't want to do those duties and shouldn't have to. If they are tied up with doing the job of a CNA they might not be able to the rest of their job properly. Or could get behind.

Go tell your boss you don’t agree with his/her policies and that you will do as you want then 😂

That’s only because the duties of a CNA are beneath the skill set and education required of an RN or MD. You can pick 10 people off the street and within an hour or so they can be performing the duties of a CNA.

Wow you speak for RNs too? You sure know a lot of skilled laborers and their job duties

It’s like they have a mental block of this simple understanding

You can't just pick 10 people off the street to be CNAs in an hour. I'm sure Mr VP Ricky even knows this and will correct you on it.

Good God man! You really do have a reading comprehension problem as some have stated here. I've said nothing of the sort! I somewhat agree with your point about regardless of the position, some level of skill is needed to be good and effective at it. Long story which I will not repeat here, but I learned that lesson on the suck-pipe of a cotton gin when I was 17 years old, something which would probably be considered as unskilled as any job in America.

But you come back with a silly, inane, smart aleck response like this? No wonder folks are giving you are hard time. How old are you? 16? Or are you an English lit/philosophy major?

Is being a cop a skilled position or no? I don't think there is a whole lot more skill needed than the sign spinning guy.

Right?
I've marveled at why sign guys are required to go through academy, regular training, be a social worker, criminal investigator, layman lawyer, and authorized to put a bullet in your noggin in extreme circumstance, just to be a sign post.

To add injury to insult, they're often compared to cops.

my gut tells me he is in his 20s and came from a public school background at a very small school in a very rural white county. He worked at various unskilled jobs and developed a jealously for people who were above him in the food chain and demand respect everywhere eh goes because he “feels” he’s just as important as others. He’s just too stubborn to admit that he’s wrong and that unskilled labor isn’t a pie in the sky fantasy term but one actually used everyday in business and economics.

Plausible explanation as well. One thing is for sure: he did not develop any debate skills.

My thoughts are you are as much of a VP as Fred Sanford was a high end art dealer.

And you guys did?

Actually yes. I did come from a poor, rural (considered black) county that produced three state championship literary teams over ten years, of which I was a member of one in debate, extemporaneous speaking and essay.

Does this qualify as game, set, match?

All I'll say is that I didn't go to a small rural high school like Ricky assumes. Although there is nothing wrong with that. It's his way of throwing juvenile insults. And he wants us to believe he is really a VP in healthcare. Not buying it.

Remember in Shawshank Redemption how everyone was "innocent"?

Well here in Volnation most everyone is a "big shot"

Right?

GED and 22 weeks. Where is the division for skilled vs. unskilled? How many weeks of training does it take to become skilled labor? Is the person that does your nails considered skilled labor?

Ouch

So you also believe that all jobs are “skilled labor” and that unskilled labor doesn’t exist within the business/economic world?
