I guess you didn't read me correctly... Everybody in this country has the right to earn a driver's license at age 16 unless they do something to screw it up.

everyone in this country has a right to purchase healthcare or the right to work for a living and have it provided by his/her employer.

Yes, people get wealthy because of support from people making not very much money... I promise nobody in this country has made money without help... And this is where the favor of the wealthy is returned:dance2:

what a bunch of garbage. the old the rich get rich on the backs of the poor bs huh? who forced these poor people to work for the said rich man? who forced them to take the wage they got? are they slaves?

OK, let me dumb this down further. Everybody has a right to take a driver license's test at age 16... Now if they can't pass that test for whatever reason, then no, they don't get a license.
Furthermore, there's a right to take a test starting at age 16 unless you broke some law that limits you driving...

WRONG... Everybody in this country when they are born have a right to healthcare and it's' up to citizens of this country to make it happen.

why do you think the US has the best healthcare in the world? the lack of socialized healthcare is a coincidence?

and once again the citizens of this country have no right to the best healthcare anymore than i have the right to eat at chez panise instead of mcdonalds every night.

Even if it were considered a fundamental right, that would not mean everyone is automatically entitled to healthcare. The constitution spells out certain rights but merely states these rights may not be infringed upon by the government, not that the government has an affirmative duty to provide them.

A drivers license is not a right its a privilege afforded to you by the State if you are willing to follow the rules that govern your having that license.

Healthcare is not a right. Healthcare is more of a luxury. If you are willing to pay for it, you can have it. Somewhere, that got distorted by a bleeding heart.

Truly sad... without poor people this country wouldn't function. Are you gonna clean up and clean the buildings after your work day??? Are you gonna pick up your gargabe you produce then put on the street???
It's just a way to help out people who aren't as fortunate is all. Again, it's so unfair then you wouldn't have a problem trading places with these people.

You should watch the movie "A day without a Mexican." It truly is a good movie about what this country would be like without people doing the grunt work.

If healthcare were considered a fundamental right under the constitution, that is how things would be too.....no different from the status quo. A person would have a right to receive treatment, but if they couldn't pay for it, then no, they wouldn't receive. Now, we could enact policies that would enable them to pay for it, but it wouldn't be because they had a right to healthcare in the first place. The right would only extend to the ability to obtain healthcare without government intrusion.

This is comical, at worse, and sad, at best... Voting is a right, correct?? Until you do something stupid to have that taken away, i.e. by committing a felony.

The same applies for driving

Healthcare in its current form didn't exist when the constitution was created. There's no way it could be included because it didn't EXIST yet.

Don't be afraid of progress... It's been happening since the day the constitutiuon was created... hence amendments...

Voting rights for women weren't in the constitution, so i guess that should be the case now either, huh??
