The Tyler Bray thread (merged)

Right we had an average run game, until we got down two or three touchdowns every game and all the defenses had to do was play to the pass.

Yeah, the first half versus Vandy we were down so much that we had to quit running. That's sarcasm.

Your absurd notions, not mine.

I focus on arm strength, accuracy, etc.

You're worried about how he feels and if his feelings and beliefs transcend to the rest of the team.

Keep churning there skippy.

How he feels?? Lol. Say what you want, but at the end of the day, only one of us used Ryan Leaf to bolster their argument..........skippy.

Check the stats. We could run versus Bammer, Georgia, and South Carolina. You base nothing on facts do you?

Here's your facts:

SEC ranks:
12th in attempts
8th in yards
9th in rushing TD's
8th in rushing YPG

What do those facts tell you?

Yeah, we had a running game last year. We were one of the better running teams. So no, every defense did not play us to pass. Ask Vandy and Kentucky about his accuracy.

We could not have lost any more. So, I have nothing to lose by saying we would have won more. We could have lost to everybody that Bray did without Bray. Also, I say we beat Kentucky without Bray two years ago. So, I stand behind my statement of more wins without Bray.

We could have easily lost several more during Bray's career. UAB in 10, Troy last year, Vandy in 2011 etc.

Really?

Was or was he not a NFL starter. Real simple, even you should be able to answer.

He started a few games because of where he as drafted and his contract.....not because he was a legitimate NFL QB. Bray won't be in the same position. Apples to Oranges. Nice try tho.

Oh really that's sarcasm? Thanks for pointing that out chief (that's sarcasm btw). Vandy game was just a horrible game by the whole team. One of Bray's worst games no doubt. But using that one extreme example does nothing for you.

Which is why I said that we could have started another qb and lost the same games because Bray beat nobody. You just proved my point.

Had we started another QB that was on the roster we would have lost the games that Bray lost and more. Your point is really, really stupid.

I disagree because with another qb getting reps in practice they might have been able to check out of plays. You see Bray worked so hard on and off the field that the coaches didn't believe that he could check out of simple run plays. We also beat Kentucky with another QB at the helm.

I don't care about the reason. Just stating facts.

You backing off your original stupid assertion is a good move though.

You said yourself, not provoked, we had a great running game. Someone shows you stats, and you go, ok average run game. That tells me you do not watch Tennessee football.

I said ok an average one. Do you know what that means right? It means unlike you, I can admit when I was inaccurate.

How could you be wrong if you watched the games? Our run game was bottom tier in the SEC. Your own eyes should tell you that, not someone's stats.

We had a better run game. We rushed for a boat load versus the Dawgs. We were close to 100 against Bammer. We were average enough that teams had to respect it.

Good lord. I don't know where to begin. So I'm just not going to. Enjoy my ignore list. You are beyond help.
