Tough to draw any conclusions from either spring game, IMO. I do agree that you have a beastly WR core that will cause us problems. Our secondary is unproven and certainly a concern. I won't go out on a limb I know everything I need to know about them from a spring game. Both squads have guys coming in for the fall that can make a difference. A good pass rush can make a world of difference for a secondary. We will see if the front seven can get any pressure. Also- do you have QB who can get the ball to these stud WRs? I know that's a bit of a question mark for you as well.
Overall there are lots of question marks on both sides. Excited to be in the stadium to see it all play out.
Another thing I noticed that I believe will favor the team with more/better athletes is that UT and USU play a fairly similar O scheme. Both teams will run quick screens. Both teams will try to isolate S/LB's on slot receivers and make big plays with slants. Both will run similar inside/outside zone plays. Neither wants their QB to run often but do want them to run effectively.
There are obviously nuances but neither D should feel as "uncomfortable" as they might otherwise feel.
