UT vs. Vandy 1965 in Neyland. UT wore their Orange and Vandy wore yellow jerseys and gold helmets. Vandy looked like a 1A high school football team.

1979: Tennessee 35 Auburn 17

Gary Moore from Meigs County ran the opening KO back 98 yds for a TD...and the Vols never let Auburn get close on that day! :salute:

Yes we were up 26-10 with eight minutes to go. Gave up two touchdowns and two 2 point conversations to end up in tie. That was a long drive home

What year was the Florida@UT game in the 90's that had monsoon type rain? I was little, maybe 5 or 6 years old. I'm thinking it was '92 maybe. All I can remember is we won easily and my Dad freaking out because I wouldn't keep my poncho on...lol. To this day, I've never seen it rain like that again.

I was also born in 1976, but I grew up poor so it was 1997 (Peyton's last game) for me. I have made up for lost time since though.

1992: Vols - 31, Gators - 14.. I was 25 at the time, great game! Mose Phillips took a screen pass about 70 - 80 yards for a TD.. Got soaked to the bone but it was awesome! :rock:

First UT game was @Memphis November 4th 2000
First @ Neyland was 2006 vs Kentucky

Most memmorable was that one in Knoxville vs UK . Me and three buddies started in a bar here in Memphis , called Bubbas Ale House. We then ended up scalping tickets in Krystal's on the "strip" from a guy who ended up giving them to us after he heard our story. Slept in the car until bout an hour before the game. Seats were on the 50yd line like 20 rows up. We barely won but it was awesome!!

We lost those 2 games by a total of 4 points. The next year, I went to Athens and we lost 44-0. Southern Cal beat us 43-6 the next week. We lost to the same 2 teams by 81 points one year later.

Yes, GA was undefeated NC's that year. I was a freshman in high school and started selling cokes at Neyland to have a way into the games. I would sell one tray and then turn it on its end and use it for a seat. Cokes were 75 cents FWIW.

1967 against Vandy. I saw Richmond Flowers catch a long TD pass. Back then we shoot a cannon after each touchdown. My next game was in 1972 as a freshman.
