I'm not trying to change your opinion. I just find it far fetched, to put it mildly.See, this is how these threads get hijacked. MY bad, I thought maybe his connection with Grunfeld might help him out if he needed work next year.
Regardless of the so called experts here, I stand by my opinion he could work in the NBA if he desired.

I'm a fan of what he did here, but the Xs and Os were consistently puzzling.Posted via VolNation Mobile
I agree, I just happen to believe Grunfeld would help him if needed. I am certain, regardless of the smarta** comments from the classless section, that Pearl would know his place in the NBA.
I don't care about cronyism and find it meaningless. I thought you were talking about a job on merit.I agree, I just happen to believe Grunfeld would help him if needed. I am certain, regardless of the smarta** comments from the classless section, that Pearl would know his place in the NBA.

Now, show some proof your choir boy Cal has given more to charity than Bruce has made in his lifetime
Grunfeld is close enough to being fired for turning yet another franchise into a dumpster fire that taking care of Pearl is probably well down his to do list.I don't care about cronyism and find it meaningless. I thought you were talking about a job on merit.

Well for starters Cal doesnt even coach here in Memphis any longer but still gives to the city and other projects of his and his wife. Coach Calipari gone from Memphis, but donates $1 million to Streets Ministries The Commercial Appeal
In all seriousness, I think Pearl would be a great fit to coach the Harlem Globetrotters. It'd get him back on the sideline, coaching a brand of basketball that he's familiar with, and would allow for him to be the charismatic showman that we all know and love.
I couldn't see any NBA franchise touching Bruce Pearl. Not because of the sanctions he'll face(which wouldn't matter anyways), but just because Pearl isn't very well equipped to coach in the NBA in any capacity.
